Ancient Milan was once rich in gardens and orchards, most of which have vanished today. However, among the city streets, watched over by the celebrated profile of the Madunina and the contemporary lines of the new skyscrapers, there still exist magical, mysterious gardens capable of surprising the soul. It is to one of these hidden gems that Spazio Verde has restored life.
The project began with a professional assessment of unstable and hazardous trees—leading to their removal where necessary—and the clearing of non-essential vegetation. This was followed by the planting of centuries-old olive trees and low-maintenance shrubs. Works then focused on adapting the existing irrigation system, installing dramatic low-energy LED lighting with custom-made artisanal fixtures, and upgrading the security system. Finally, we installed a dry-laid walkway in Red Verona Marble and a sustainable, low-impact green roof for the garage.
The result? A green space designed with the mind and created with the heart.
