Lake Garda enjoys a privileged position, sheltered by mountain ranges that create a sub-Mediterranean climate. In this context, Spazio Verde designed a garden as a natural extension of a luxurious Guest House. We planted olive trees, citrus, a four-season flowering collection, and 15 Phoenix Canariensis palms (12m each), imported directly from Uruguay, to create a stunning tropical scenario. The estate is further enriched by a scenic vegetable garden in stainless steel planters.
Technically, we utilized a zoned irrigation system for water efficiency and dramatic LED lighting designed to reduce light pollution. For the surfaces, we used reinforced lawn (driveable grass protected by grids) for driveways, Botticino marble for building exteriors, and drainage architectural concrete for walkways.
The crown jewels of the project are the infinity-edge pool with a salt filtration system, an independent whirlpool, and a synthetic grass tennis court that doubles as a helipad. The project is completed with powder-coated galvanized steel structures (pergolas, gazebos, secret garden, carport), Impruneta terracotta pots, and outdoor furniture. Safety and comfort are ensured by a thermal-camera video surveillance system and mist cooling systems.
The result? A work of art. Because, as Sir Walter Scott maintained, “nothing is more the child of art than a garden.”
